HEATCODE

Innovative engineering design processes for thermonet systems

Thermonets

A thermonet is a network of uninsulated pipes connecting various energy sources to geothermal heat pumps and thus enabling community-level heating that have great potential towards the decarbonization of the built environment. By leveraging decentralized geothermal heat pumps, such systems offer a significant reduction in electricity consumptions compared to traditional heating methods.

Our goal

The HEATCODE project is dedicated to pioneering a new digitalized design toolchain for thermonets

This new design approach is expected to mark a transformative leap in the implementation and scalability of thermonets.

Our Focus Areas

Exploring diverse aspects of thermonet technology

Our team is at the forefront of researching and developing various aspects of thermonets technology, including system efficiency, design automation, and environmental impact.
